This year’s Yoga Festival gives you tools to deepen your yoga practice and bring the benefits of your practice into your daily life. International teachers take you one step further in your yoga experience – and inspire you to live yoga – on and off the mat!

Who can come?
The Yoga Festival is an event for yoga enthusiasts of all levels and traditions. Beginner classes give a gentle introduction to easy yoga that anyone can do. Strong dynamic yoga classes challenge the more experienced practitioners. In Acro Yoga, you explore fun and supportive ways to do yoga with others. Our most experienced teachers take you into new yoga experiences where you connect with your body’s own intelligence, discovering new ways of finding optimal alignment, enhancing your natural fitness and aliveness.
The scene
In the beautiful and peaceful sorroundings of fields, lakes and woods, Ängsbacka provides optimal environment for you to delve into yoga. From early morning to late evening, your day is saturated with the ambiance of yoga.
Food and health
Our kitchen provides 100% vegetarian meals, composed to please your taste buds and digestion. Ängsbacka makes it easy for you to have a healthy summer vacation! Our Yoga & Ayurveda classes make you more aware of how to make the right choices for you in your yoga practice and diet, so that you can find your own balance to support your body and mind.
Family policy
Families are welcome! Our Kids’ and family program provides daily opportunities for children and youngsters to have fun with yoga on their own playful premises, and parents can play yoga with their children. We offer special workshops for children and professional day care for up to 4 hours/day that look after children while parents are at their own workshops.
The daily program
Your festival day may look like this:
5:00 a.m.: Kundalini yoga morning sadhana with live music
7:00 a.m.: Meditation or morning yoga (Ashtanga yoga, Kundalini yoga, Hatha yoga)
8:30 a.m.: A hearty breakfast of porridge, smoothies, fruit and herbal teas
10:30 a.m.: Communal guided meditation for world peace
11:00 a.m.: Workshop (Jivamukti yoga, Systemic yoga, Meditation)
1:00 p.m.: Lunch – the days main meal with beans and lentils, rice and vegetables
3:00 p.m.: Sharing
4:15 p.m.: Lecture or workshop (Yin yoga, Ayurvedic yoga, Kundalini yoga, Relaxation)
6:30 p.m.: Dinner – a light evening meal of soup, vegetable stir-fries etc
8:30 p.m.: Concerts, bhajans, dance, and evening entertainment
The program is subject to change. We will do our best to provide you with a great program. However, Ängsbacka is not responsible for a teacher’s participation or cancellation. We will do our best to replace any teacher who is prevented from coming.

Levels and experience
The Yoga classes are designed to be for both you who are beginners and the more experienced. Dance Classes require no previous experience, and are designed to help you focus on connecting with your body, inner being and the joy of movement.

Changes in the program
All teachers come to the festival to support the yoga practitioners in their growth and connection to the silence within, into more awareness and joy. Be prepared that changes in the program may occur. Ängsbacka can not be held responsible for any teacher"s absence, but we will do our best to replace the person/persons who can not attend.
