During the 12 years of its existence,

Ängsbacka Course Centre has touched thousands of people through its courses, festivals and above all with its warm loving atmosphere. A few people have over the years invested a great amount of their time, money and heart to help create what we today can enjoy. Now, the opportunity has come to all of us to take on a shared responsibility for Ängsbacka´s future. We stand at the start of a new era where we together can own, manage and develop Ängsbacka to its greatest potential.

The current owners, Kjell-Jörgen Kolstad and Kåre Landfald would like to see Ängsbacka run by an association, and has offered to sell the entire ownership to a newly formed association. The owners, the management and many with us feel that the best way to run Ängsbacka is through shared ownership and not through individual ownership. The flowering of Ängsbacka depends on all of us who want Ängsbacka as part of our life to take a step forward and manifest this together. Therefore we have now started an economical Association that within a year aims to own Ängsbacka. This gives all of us who care about Ängsbacka a simple choice; either we come together to buy Ängsbacka and realize our collective dreams, or it will be sold to individual owners and stand with the same challenges as before.

We who write this are a Board of 10 people chosen by the first 60 members of the Association. We have the mission to create, start the running of the Association and carry through the ownership transition.

Together we will create Northern Europe's greatest centre for Sustainable Human Development.
